OCAD U: Arts & Cultural Programming 
OCAD U LiVE

OCAD U LiVE is a 24/7 digital streaming video channel that speaks to OCAD U’s commitment to building a strong online community, supporting our students, and providing opportunities for creative expression. It is a collection of all types of shows created by students for students, with the goal of fostering them as content creators. You will find everything from talk shows to cooking shows, fitness shows to student group shows. This panel featured four current OCAD U students who are also OCAD U LiVE content creators and have shows currently running on the platform.

Leonardo Dell’Anno

OCAD U LiVE Producer

Leonardo Dell’Anno is a Canadian Screen Award-nominated Producer with a demonstrated history of working in the entertainment industry for nearly 20 years. A graduate of Humber College’s Film and Television Production program, Dell’Anno is an award-winning producer of film, theatre, virtual reality, digital media and music videos. Formerly the production manager of the Canadian Film Centre’s Media Lab for over 8 years, he later produced theatrical escape games for Secret City Adventures, in collaborations with brands such as Shaftsbury Entertainment, Pioneer Black Creek Village and Casa Loma. Dell’Anno has also been involved in several interactive media projects internationally including works displayed at the 01SJ Digital Arts Festival in San Jose, California and SXSW Interactive Music & Film Festival in Austin, Texas. Dell’Anno is currently working at OCAD University as producer of their 24/7 digital channel OCAD U LiVE, featuring exclusively content created by students fostering some of the future’s brightest content creators.

Elmer Bauman-Enriquez

Elmer Bauman-Enriquez is an Artist based in Toronto, Ontario currently in 3rd year studying in the Integrated Media program while rising in many different avenues of art that include photography, cinematography and creative writing, usually pairing all three skills to create one greater piece of art. Bauman-Enriquez creates work that invokes the deep emotions that everyone tries to hide, working with relational aesthetics, he studies the way people interact with each other and how it can affect someone else. Notably his work with OCAD U LiVE and his program “Artistic Visions” where Bauman-Enriquez interviews other rising artists that study at OCAD U LiVE and talks about the future goals they strive to achieve as artists.

Charlotte Durnford- Dionne

Charlotte Durnford-Dionne

Student, OCAD University

Charlotte Durnford-Dionne is an undergraduate student studying Advertising Design, with a minor in Textiles. She is currently doing a residency at the Contemporary Textile Studio Co-op and holds a communications placement at the Textile Museum of Canada. Her studio practice primarily delves into up-cycling and circular design, notable clients include Disney Canada, YMCA, and Instagram. Outside of the studio, Durnford-Dionne hosts the show Second Life Studio, a weekly show highlighting creative uses for otherwise discarded household objects. She hopes to inspire a more sustainable approach to design and a more thoughtful approach to consumption.

Chris Markland

Chris Markland

Student, OCAD University

Content creator Chris Markland is a man of many passions, eager to share his thoughts and opinions with anyone who’ll listen. As a member of the OCAD U LiVE Advisory Committee, he is the writer and creator of the original web series, Supafly: The Guardian as well as the host of his weekly show, Supafly Reviews. Markland has over 50,000 followers on his TikTok page, Supaflycomix, where he rants and raves about comics, movies, and various other pop culture properties. He also dreams of breaking into the entertainment industry, spending his free time writing and drawing his WIP graphic novel.

Vladimir Kanic

Vladimir Kanic

Student, OCAD University

Vladimir Kanic is a videographer and editor currently working for OCAD U LiVE shows Morning With Mia, Max and Mia Show and Newscad. He is also a video and photo documentarian for public art festivals such as Big Art TO and the Awakenings where he travels around Toronto interviewing the artists and recording their large-scale projections on the buildings. Kanic's Big Art TO documentation is a foundation for the public art show on OCAD U LiVE.
